Die zwei großen Flüsse im Verteilgebiet unseres „tassilo“-Magazins sind Ammer und Lech. Bei Murnau kratzt mit der Loisach jedoch ein weiterer Alpenfluss die Gegend an. Die Besonderheit dort: Professionelles Rafting, das aufgrund des sanften Wildwassergrads ideal geeignet ist für Anfänger. Einer, der sich mit nahezu allen Flüssen und Bächen im kompletten Alpenraum intensiv befasst: Dr. Wolfgang Hug, seit 2017 Leiter des WWF-Büros in Weilheim. Im großen Interview auf der Roten Couch verrät der ehemalige Dinosaurier-Forscher, warum die weltbekannte Umwelt- und Naturschutzorganisation ausgerechnet im beschaulichen Weilheim eine Niederlassung hat, wofür er und sein Team schwerpunktmäßig zuständig sind, welche Renaturierungsmaßnahmen hier in der Region geplant sind, wie er sich die Zukunft zwischen Mensch und Natur wünscht und ob er als Schweizer seiner Heimat nicht vermisst.
Einer, der seit Kindesbeinen an mit Tier und Natur lebt und arbeitet: Leo Spatz vom Kreilhof, der sich zwischen Peißenberg und Oberhausen befindet. Bekannt ist sein landwirtschaftlicher Betrieb für die Zucht von Rotwild. Wir haben uns, passend zur Jahreszeit, jedoch die weit und breit einzigartige Heidelbeerplantage des erfolgreichen Junglandwirts angeschaut und dabei erfahren, dass dieses heimische Superfood unter Anleitung des Profis sogar eigenhändig gepflückt werden kann. Wenige Kilometer Luftlinie südwestlich davon befindet sich Böbing, mit rund 1960 Einwohnern als beschauliches, ruhiges Dorf in idyllischer Lage geltend. Einmal im Jahr aber lässt es dort ein rühriger Verein so richtig krachen. Die Rede ist vom Böbing Open Air, dem größten Rock-Festival im bayerischen Oberland, das über zwei Tage hinweg mehr als 3000 Besucher aus Nah und Fern in seinen Bann zieht. Für eine ähnlich starke Anziehungskraft steht auch das erstmals im Jahr 2018 veranstaltete hAMMERsound-Festival in Peißenberg, explizit gemacht für die hiesige Jugend, das mit Livebands, Azubimeile und Skatcontest viel bunter nicht sein könnte.
Bunt, weil anders, ist auch das Leben und Schaffen von Werner Klein, bekannter als „da Iron Huggy“. Wir durften einen Blick in seine freie Werkstätte werfen, mit ihm über Gott und die Welt philosophieren und einige seiner aus Schrott gefertigten Errungenschaften in Augenschein nehmen. Viel zu erreichen gab’s auch in der Geschichte des SV Raisting. Wir haben zum 100-Jährigen einen Blick in die Vereinschronik geworfen und mit Erstaunen festgestellt, dass nicht nur Fußball einen hohen Stellenwert im Satellitendorf hatte. Als Hobby ebenfalls beliebt: Angeln. Die Voraussetzung dafür: Eine Ausbildung in einer dafür anerkannten Schule. Eher weniger schön ist der Beweggrund einer neuen Selbsthilfegruppe – es geht um emotionale Gewalt, um perfide Psychospielchen von Narzissten. Was immer guttut: Eine Grillparty im Kreise von Freunden und Familie, womöglich mit der Umsetzung der Rezeptideen der Hauswirtschafterei.
